At DLR Golf Carts, warranty coverage may vary depending on the golf cart, manufacturer, condition, age, and any specific warranty terms provided at the time of sale.

1. New Golf Carts

New golf carts may include a manufacturer’s warranty. Coverage may differ by brand and model and may apply to certain components such as:
  • Battery systems
  • Electric motors
  • Controllers
  • Engines
  • Frames
  • Electrical components
  • Other manufacturer-covered parts
Customers should review the specific warranty information provided with the golf cart before purchase.

2. Pre-Owned Golf Carts

Warranty coverage for pre-owned golf carts may vary. Some pre-owned carts may be sold with limited warranty coverage, while others may be sold without a warranty. The applicable warranty terms, if any, should be confirmed before completing the purchase.

3. Lithium Batteries

Lithium battery warranties may be provided by the battery manufacturer and may have separate terms, exclusions, registration requirements, or coverage periods. Customers should retain all battery warranty documentation and proof of purchase.

4. Warranty Exclusions

Unless specifically covered by an applicable manufacturer or written DLR Golf Carts warranty, warranty coverage may not include damage caused by:

  • Accidents or collisions
  • Misuse or abuse
  • Improper charging
  • Neglect or lack of maintenance
  • Unauthorized modifications
  • Aftermarket accessories
  • Water or flood damage
  • Improper storage
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Tires, upholstery, or other wear items
  • Commercial or unintended use

5. Modifications and Accessories

Installing aftermarket parts, lift kits, wheels, tires, electrical accessories, controllers, batteries, or other modifications may affect warranty coverage. Customers should confirm warranty implications before modifying a golf cart.

6. Warranty Claims

If you believe your golf cart has a warranty-covered issue, contact DLR Golf Carts with:

  • Your name
  • Purchase information
  • Golf cart make and model
  • Vehicle identification or serial number, if applicable
  • Description of the issue
  • Photos or videos where helpful

We will review the information and advise you on the next steps.

7. Manufacturer Warranty Claims

Some claims may need to be handled directly through the manufacturer or an authorized service provider. DLR Golf Carts may assist with identifying the appropriate warranty process where applicable.

8. Transportation Costs

Unless specifically included in the applicable warranty, transportation, pickup, delivery, or towing costs related to warranty service may be the customer’s responsibility. For information about delivery availability, scheduling, and transport charges, review our Shipping Policy.

9. Repairs Under Warranty

Warranty repairs must follow the applicable warranty terms. Unauthorized repairs or modifications made before a warranty claim is reviewed may affect eligibility for coverage.

10. No Automatic Warranty

Information on this website does not automatically create a warranty. Only warranties expressly provided in writing by DLR Golf Carts, the manufacturer, or another authorized warranty provider apply to a purchase.

11. Legal Rights

This policy does not limit any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
